What usually hurts

Three departments calculate NGR three different ways

The dashboard shows one result, reconciliation shows another

The LTV forecast is built on a base-wide average instead of cohorts

What the employee can do after the track

A list of actions, not of topics. This is what certification is built on.

  • 01Derives NGR by its contractual definition and sees where it differs from Adjusted GGR
  • 02Calculates platform revenue under revenue share and checks it for discrepancies
  • 03Builds an operator P&L separating provider, payment, affiliate and bonus costs
  • 04Reads a cohort report: FTD, D7, D30, deposits, GGR, NGR, LTV
  • 05Calculates ARPU, ARPPU and LTV in both the simple and the extended model
  • 06Evaluates payback period and LTV-to-CAC by channel
  • 07Prepares management reporting that survives the question "where does this number come from"

Questions about this track

How deep does the metrics block go?+

The Metrics and Economics course is the central one in the programme: eight modules and 27 formulas with worked examples, from CTR and CPA to the extended LTV model and payback period.

We have our own contractual definition of NGR. Is that a problem?+

Quite the opposite — that is exactly what we work through. A key block is devoted to the fact that the definition of NGR must be fixed contractually and differs between contracts.

Will it suit an accountant with no iGaming background?+

Yes, the track starts with the operator’s basic revenue model. But it is a track about management reporting, not tax reporting.

Will you teach building specific reports in our system?+

The track teaches which reports are needed and how to read them. Building them in a specific system can be added as an adaptation to your back office.
